Thanks for the comments, Mostwanted. I'm happy the red blood drops came out well, and I think I will stick with them (though I may throw in some other colors here and there just to change things up).

I've been doing the majority of my purity seals with a black center with a silver rim for a long time, and I'm really not sure when I settled on it. I just like the way it looks.

I am going to weather the end of the flamer, but I think I'm going to do it with a succession of washes, probably layering on Gryphonne Sepia, Ogryn Flesh, and Devlan Mud from back to front to get successive darkening.

I think the problem with the purity seals is that I hit them with a sepia wash after I did the Bleached Bone highlights, which I usually don't do. It's made them browner than usual, and I think I'll go back and hit them with bleached bone highlights to lighten them back up.

The eyes were painted with Knarloc Green, highlighted with Scorpion Green, and then washed with Thraka Green. Looking at them now, I think they need another highlight of Scorpion Green to make them really pop. I usually use the lens effect you're suggesting on my power armored marines, but I couldn't think it would work on the Terminators because their eye lenses are raised, so I went for another approach.

The metal is a black undercoat, carefully drybrushed Boltgun Metal to pick out the texture, and then edge highlighted with Mithril Silver. I then give the whole area a wash of Badab Black to tone down the highlights and give the metal a dark, well-oiled look. I'm pleased you like the effect.

Thanks for the suggestions, and keep them coming. I'll try and make these improvements within the next couple days and get pictures up soon.
