I really like seeing your models. The Vet assault squad is great. You paint in a similar way to me going for the straight of the parade ground look. They are very cleanly painted and bold which I like. I know you say you're a stickler for correct insignia (so am I) so maybe you could shed some light on this for me. I have always wondered about squads in the first company if they actually had squad markings on their knee pads or not? I have not seen any official 'Eavy Metal models from our first company painted with them. I have heard somewhere (can't remember where though) that squads in the first company take their name from their squad Sgt. This may be old fluff if it is even true. May be you know something I don't?

I love the jump pack on the Chaplain. Did you get it from a curtain auction website?

I don't know why you don't like the free hand on your Librarian. I think it's really good. I'm also with AngelicDespot that I like the winged backpack. I agree with what he has said about the yellow as well. I fully understand why you did do it that colour but it just comes across as a bit much. But as the model is heavily robed I think whatever colour you went for would probably have taken away from the blue armour. The yellow is really well blended and another very well painted model.

Have you started work on your other vets that you were talking about in your last topic? Have you decided what colour robes to go for with them?
