This was my 2nd battle using 5th Edition rules and let me just say how much i HATE necrons. They are my 2nd army but I have a small force of them for now. Honestly I feel like my opponent was using some sort of loophole as far as their WBB rolls.

Returning to game first time since 2003

I am thinking about getting back into WH40K fielding my BA army. I stopped playing in 2003 the last time I played I believe was during the Eye of Terror Campaign. I really have no idea what the major changes are for BA but everyone says they have been dumbed down.

I am a close combat fanatic and like to put as many units with power weapons on the board as possible as my typical opponents tend to have 3+ saves. I really enjoyed using a Chaplain with DC and also a SHP with Twin...

1,000 Point Army List

We have another doubles tournament coming up at my LGS and based on what I have seen there in the past I needed a lot more Monstrous Creature (MC) killing power than my typical list provides. We often see CSM lists with 4 daemon princes and four greater daemons, and lots of 'Nidzilla stuff, that kind of MC spam... The next tournament is 1,250 per player, so 2,500 points per side.

I wanted to find a way to include as many power fists as possible, have a lot of scoring units AND...

Ok, so I'm coming back to the hobby after a LOOOOONG hiatus. I played marines only briefly, but always loved the 'Angels.

I'm just building an idea of where to start an army and had a few questions and hopes-for-hints.

I want to create a 'really' fast attack force that's mobile, deadly and just-plain-nasty for the other guy to deal with.

evening guys. Im new here, and i need some help with my BA army.
See, i live in South Africa, and i recently bought me assault on Black Reach.
I am thinking of Expanding my army, but the thing is i don't know with what. My friends all say i should go for a land raider or something extravagant like that.
But im thinking more along the lines of troops, get more bulk.

What do you guys think??

well I finally got to play my first space hulk game last night. Or to be more accurate first 4 games. And to ruin the suspense I really enjoyed the game.

Me and my opponent played the first two missions each as Blood Angels and as Genestealers.

I was on my way to making and painting my Blood Angels Death Company and while looking through the cute little pdf codex, noticed that things like grails, sanguinary priests(not counting corbulo), awesome sauce furious charge, black rage, etc.(among other things) are all gone.

That, and the codex doesn't explicitly exclude or confirm strange point differences which make things like predators and dreadnoughts cost more(wtf?) and or say if combat tactics...

The other day I played a 2 on 1 scenario with each side having 5000pts each, no apoc rules. So trying to make it to 5000pts was adventure in its self with 1 force org. I had a question about the tech marines and servitors. Can I equip the tech and the 4 servitors with a servo harness?

I have noticed that our traffic has slowed way down. Why is this? Are people playing other armies? Frustrated with no new codex in foreseeable future? Playing Basic Marines with that new codex? I am just curious. I have played BA since 3rd Ed. and keep playing them despite rules changes. Having more fun with appoc. as opposed to regular 40k.

I would love to build a first Company Blood angel army although i'm not sure what units to include. I'm thinking about the following units...
